Eric Parker is the Vice President of Strategic Marketing at Cornerstone Consulting and brings over 30 years of cross-functional leadership experience gained in sales, product management, supply chain & logistics and operations. He brings a people-centric approach to managing change and transforming siloed organizations into customer-focused businesses that improve the bottom line.
His previous role was serving as the Vice President of Distribution & Logistics at Airgas Merchant Gases where he was responsible for the integration of three different operating companies, resulting in the Airgas organization when Airgas was acquired by Air Liquide. He was responsible for 1,300 associates across 60 terminals and 2 scheduling centers. He led the team through a coincident ERP and Scheduling System integration and developed a strategic plan for fleet modernization leveraging connectivity, plus the integration of big data into real-time decision making. Before this, Eric was the General Manager of Operations at Linde where he was accountable for all aspects of production, distribution and customers service in the Midwest region. He lead the effort to instill a continuous improvement culture driving performance up and cost and risk down.
Eric is a nine-year veteran of the U.S. Navy where he served as Strike Warfare Office aboard USS Spruance (DD 963), Flag Lieutenant at Mine Warfare Command and as Combat Systems Officer aboard USS Lake Erie (CG 70). He earned his engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and holds certifications as a LEAN Black Belt and Change Agent.
